Job Title:                             Junior Sales Executive

Salary:                                 £15,000 (£20,000 OTE)

Job Summary / Purpose: 

  • Responsible for the identification, research, and initial engagement of prospective clients and generation of relationships.
  • Building business by identifying and selling Xist4’s recruitment services.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing and clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

This is a key role within our small but growing sales/recruitment team, and will offer the right individuals the opportunity to develop a career within the recruitment industry. Put simply; your role is to bring new business into the company through our existing methods (although we are open to new ideas). The role can be challenging at times so the ideal candidate must be adaptable, positive and consistently motivated in order to succeed. We are strong believers in team/staff development through training and exposure to new skills; as well as rewarding those who excel with incentives and progression. Some of the responsibilities given to the right candidates will include:

  • Developing new business through networking and cold calling.
  • Preparing and developing an accurate sales lead pipeline.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the clients through regular Phone contact, e-mails or the personal contact.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
  • High-volume cold calling to establish new, high-quality opportunities with prospective clients and contacts.
  • Lead qualification and cleansing of leads received through various sources (including from candidates, HRS CRM system, purchased lists, other sources).
  • Nurturing mid to long term opportunities through regular touch points until they are ready for sales engagement.
  • Research industries and companies to develop lead lists (using various sources / channels).

Lead Generation

  • Develop Sales Pipeline
    • Research and Identify relevant job leads and companies for us to work with via job boards, internet, business networking sites etc.
    • Using Linkedin, Google etc research and find appropriate contact names (i.e. line managers, Directors, HR Managers etc) associated with all job leads and companies.
  • Canvass / Call candidates for job leads
    • Generating new sales leads (job leads) by contacting candidates that have recently applied for roles and compiling information on interviews they have attended or jobs they have missed out on i.e. company name, position, locations, contact names.

Business List Development

  • Helping develop new and existing business areas.
  • Adding New Companies or Updating Existing Businesses Skills on HRS
  • Using all the resource available (i.e. Candidate CV’s, lead generation software, HRS Database, Google etc) to compile an up to date list of companies (in the South West of England predominately) with technical requirements.
  • Adding contacts and skilling up appropriately on HRS and appropriate spread sheet

Administration & Reporting

  • Recording accurate communications with clients and candidates on Xist4’s HRS CRM.
  • Recording on a daily basis on Xist4’s excel template your daily activities.
