Support Specialist (Supporting Migration Projects)

Location: Portishead, North Somerset

Salary: £25-35,000 including shift allowance.

Support Specialist - Key Skills:

- Must have good experience of problem solving and trouble-shooting technical issues.
- Highly customer focused.
- Previous experience working in a customer centric support or consultancy role.
- Experience of one or more of the following Microsoft technologies is highly desirable;
- MS Exchange
- MS SQL Server
- Windows 2003 / 2008 Server
- MS SharePoint

- Experience of supporting external customers.
- Must be comfortable proving support on a project and product basis.
- Must be comfortable working a 2-3 week alternating shift pattern.
- Must be an excellent communicator.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

About the Role:

This Support Specialist role (Supporting Migration Projects) will involve:

- Problem solving in Microsoft server environments and applications.
- Supporting projects involving the movement of data from system to system.
- Resolving all issues around data migration projects.
- Problem management and undertaking Root Cause Analysis.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant technologies, systems and platforms.
- Attend training courses as required, either remotely, via the web, or on-site and undertake certification as required.
