IT Service Desk Engineer (1st line and 2nd Line Support).

Location: Long Ashton, South Bristol

Salary: £19-25,000 (dependent on experience).

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and user support experience and have a solid background in IT Support.

IT Service Desk Engineer - Key Skills:

- 1+ years commercial experience 1st line and 2nd line support.
- Good Windows Desktop support experience.
- Experience supporting Windows 7 / 8 / 10.
- Experience setting up new workstations, laptops, tablets and phones.
- Knowledge/Understanding of MS Office 365.
- Strong customer support and user support experience.
- Strong competence in issue diagnosis and problem solving.
- Must be an excellent communicator.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

IT Service Desk Engineer – Nice to Have:

- ITIL experience
- Windows 2008/2012 experience.

IT Service Desk Engineer - About the Role:

Your role as the IT Service Desk Engineer will involve:

- Providing an in-house 1st and 2nd line support resource.
- Supporting internal and external users.
- Troubleshooting mainly 1st line through to 2nd line support issues.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and basic network problems.
- Installing, maintaining and support Windows Desktops, software applications and hardware accessories.
- Working to ITIL best practices.
