Local animators draw attention to XIST4 IT Recruitment

Student animators from the University of West England have been given the opportunity to design a set of animations for XIST4 IT Recruitment. The animations will be used on our website (www.xist4.com) to promote the business to clients and candidates.

A series of six films have been commissioned. The first animation, launched this month (January), will be used to promote the business to potential clients, highlighting some of the benefits of working with a specialist IT recruitment firm. Future animations will be both candidate and client based and will include useful tips and information such as ‘how to search for your perfect job’ and ‘what not to do in an interview’.

“We wanted a different way to engage with clients and candidates that will capture in a light hearted way who we are and what we are about,” comments Gozie Ezulike, Director at XIST4 IT Recruitment. “We wanted to use a medium that would connect with new clients or candidates and that is more interactive than simply reading our website.”

In addition to engaging visitors to the website, the project also aims to provide credible experience for students in a commercial setting. The successful applicants, Riccardo Riguzzi and Beatrice Borghini who are both doing a degree in animation, were selected after XIST4 Recruitment staff viewed a series of show reels.

“We are delighted to be working on a real life animation project,” comments Riccardo Riguzzi, the storyboard artist and animation director. “I know that Gozie looked at lots of other show reels to select the right people – so I was thrilled to be one of the people chosen to work on this project.”
